Mithridates is a mark in Final Fantasy XIII fought in Mission 27 and is one of the Undying. The Cie'th Stone for Mission 27 is located on the Cloven Spire of Taejin's Tower. Mithridates is found on the Ground Tier, but for it to come out of hiding the player must first connect the main lift from the Cloven Spire down to the Ground Tier. This is because Mithridates is lured by music, such as that played by the main lift as it moves.

- There are two ways to finish the map. The first is to send your troops north, and use your Villagers to build up a base and train units for an assault. The other, simpler and quicker option, is to take your initial forces, sail past their Towers, and attack the Wonder. I recommend the second option.

The other, simpler and quicker option, is to take your initial forces, sail past their Towers, and attack the Wonder. I recommend the second option. Put your troops in the Transports, and head upriver. The Towers on both sides will cause some damage to your ships, so try to use your Triremes to take most of the attack - the Transports are far more important. When you land, more Towers are in your way. Walk past them; this is less dangerous than staying to assault them. Find the Wonder, and try to attack from a position where the enemy towers can't hit you. There should be an enemy Catapult or two close by. If they come too close, send your cavalry to crush them - a single hit could wipe out your infantry, if you're not careful. In a few minutes, the Wonder should be down.

This is because Mithridates is lured by music, such as that played by the main lift as it moves. A Menhirrim statue on the Cloven Spire will summon a lift leading to the Seventh Tier when the player examines it. On the Seventh Tier another Menhirrim will rotate the tower's walls to allow the main lift to travel beyond the seventh tier to the Cloven Spire. Finally, the player must return to the Cloven Spire, then take the main lift down to the Ground Tier and the battle with Mithridates begins when they reach the bottom.
