Tal Kyr'am meaning Blood Death in basic from Mando'a was a form of Mandalorian entertainment in which two Mando'ade slaves would be forced to fight to the death. The slaves would be allowed to do whatever necessary to defeat the other opponant. Some slaves, as in the case of Kadrian Kolar, would be specifically trained to be a Tal Kyr'am fighter. If a slave would show skills and woudl present good tactics and would win enough duels, the Mandalorians would permit the slave to becoem an official Mandalorian although this "honor" was mostly given to Human slave or near-human slaves.
