Star Trek was the second film Hunter worked on which starred Chris Pine; the first was 2006's Smokin' Aces, which also starred Joseph Ruskin and Maury Sterling. Star Trek is also Hunter's second film project executive produced by Jeffrey Chernov after 2007's Underdog. Hunter's most recent project as a set designer is the upcoming Race to Witch Mountain, a Disney adventure film starring Dwayne Johnson and Ike Eisenmann. Hunter also served as an art director on the upcoming thriller The Informant, which stars Star Trek: Enterprise regular Scott Bakula.
