- Poisoned Arrow is an enchanted arrow that blinds an adversary while simultaneously inflicting Poison damage. It is required for the quest "The Assassin."
- Level: Archer 4 Spell Resistance: no Leaping in the sky, you summon a Green arrow that leaves your enemies poisoned if it strikes them. Make a single touch attack against an enemy within your bow's range as a standard action. If this hits your enemy must make a DC 14+Dexterity modifier fortitude saving throw. If the enemy fails they take normal damage, and 1 damage to either their strength, dexterity, or constitution score every round for 1d6 rounds. If they make the save they are not poisoned, but still take normal damage.
- Poisoned Arrows are created by Eldoth using a unique special ability. While only five may be crafted each day, these arrows are fairly powerful in that upon contact with the target, the victim becomes poisoned - similar in most respects to Arrow of Biting. Creatures who are immune to poison will obviously not receive any damage from the poison effect. Also, Eldoth is the only one who can use these arrows.

Creatures who are immune to poison will obviously not receive any damage from the poison effect. Also, Eldoth is the only one who can use these arrows. In the original Baldur's Gate, there is no save for the poison effect, and it deals 2 damage per round for 40 rounds, or unless cured. However, in the Enhanced Edition, the target will make a Save vs. Poison to negate the effect, which changes slightly to 1 damage every two seconds for 40 seconds.
