The TOSS-74 was designed as a cost effective replacement for the B.O.M.B. system, and a supplement for "The Gadget". Total there were 12 satellites, all controlled by NORAD SatCom Arrays. 11 out of the 12 TOSS-74's were loaded with nuclear payloads, the 12th, known as "Bradley-Hercules" was armed with conventional warheads to use as test satellite. On October 23rd, 2077, the TOSS-74 system was America's first responce to Chinese nuclear weapons. While America's bomber's were taking off, and the ballistic missiles just breaking the atmosphere, the nuclear armed TOSS-74's had already unleashed their payloads. The test satellite "Bradley-Hercules" would later be hacked by Enclave forces, and used against the BoS in 2277.
