Stanisław Jan Jabłonowski (1634–1702) was a Polish nobleman, magnate, outstanding military commander. One of Poland's greatest military commanders, he was commander-in-chief of the Polish army at the Battle of Vienna (1683). He was the son of the Lord Sword-Bearer Jan Jabłonowski and Anna Ostroróg (Ostrorogow). He married Marianna Kazanowska in 1658. He was a candidate for the Polish Throne following the death of King Jan III Sobieski. In 1692 Stanisław built the stronghold and the neighbouring town of Okopy Świętej Trójcy.
