Manhunt 2 is an insanely controversial video game that was released on the Wii during mid/late 2007. It was developed by Rockstar Games, the studio behind the equally questionable (though unarguably better in content) Grand Theft Auto series. The game was filled with a copious amount of delays after consistently being banned in the United States and UK after coming in possession of the dreadful Adults Only rating, which is not allowed by Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft (with this game only regarding the latter two companies mentioned), nor major corporations including but certainly not limited to Wal-Mart, Best Buy, K-Mart and so on. In fact, despite later on receiving an M for Mature rating, Target forbade all of their stores to sell the game after the immense controversy it generated.

The game was one of the few, if not only, games on a Nintendo console that disbarred Florida attorney Jack Thompson targeted. He went as far as to ask Wendy's restaurant not to give out Super Mario Galaxy, Excite Truck and Wii Sports toys because they are involved with Nintendo, who allowed the game to appear on their console. Wendys refused Thompson's request.
