World’s End (2009) was an ewrestling pay-per-view event produced by EWE and took place on 24th July 2009 at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. The event featured talent from Thunder as well as a superstar from Punk Wrestling Extreme. It was the first World’s End event, replacing Sacrifice. An Armageddon Cell match is a No DQ match in which the only way a superstar can be pinned is if they are bleeding and will be contested in a Hell in a Cell-esque structure.

The event featured talent from Thunder as well as a superstar from Punk Wrestling Extreme. It was the first World’s End event, replacing Sacrifice. World’s End 2009 featured a single main event, an Armageddon Fatal-4-Way match for the EWE Championship between champion Super Nova, Tommy Cage, Triple X and Kevin Gillmore. The event also featured many big sub-card matches, including Legend of Wrestling members Shawn Stasiak against PWE's Ace as well as a Triple Threat match between Jack Akanza, Ben Helmsey and Joey Borden for the Megaman Championship. An Armageddon Cell match is a No DQ match in which the only way a superstar can be pinned is if they are bleeding and will be contested in a Hell in a Cell-esque structure.
