- The Journey Begins is a quest in Fable II, forming the journey to Oakfield as part of The Hero of Strength. Theresa believes that the first hero that needs to be found is The Pilgrim. She sends the Hero off to Oakfield, a prosperous and peaceful town, that receives its lush and abundant landscape from the blessed Golden Oak, which is cared for by the monks of the Temple of Light.
- The Journey Begins was first published on May 19, 2010 with the last issue published September 22, 2010; there are five issues. The hardback version was published January 25, 2011 containing the entire comic collection. The comic takes place before The Gunslinger, and recalls the story Roland recounted to Brown during The Gunslinger. The main story is told after Roland rests in Brown's hut located in the Mohaine Desert. The story begins where The Battle of Jericho Hill left off. with Roland lying amidst his fellow companions (all of which have been killed by not-men), and chronicles his escape.

- The episode starts with Optimus Prime giving a recap, saying they supposedly "destroyed" the Decepticons, taking the AllSpark with them. In deep, deep space, Cliffjumper asks Optimus if he can assist the other 'bots in removing rubble so they can go through the space bridge. On their way outside, Optimus feels like hes being watched, failing to notice Frenzy has snuck on the ship. Ratchet, Bumblebee, and Breakaway stumble upon the AllSpark shard, while Teletraan 1 informs Prime that the Decepticons are coming right for them. To give the space bridge time to load, the Autobots head for the Decepticons to see the Nemesis, the biggest Decepticon ship ever.
