Force Overload is a Universal Force power that was first used during the Great Droid Revolution. It’s a far more potent version of Droid Disable. The user focuses the energies around him and then he lets out a wave of interference. This can either be in a certain direction or in a circular motion; like ripples on the water. This wave short-circuits all electrical devices hit by the interference. The wave doesn’t destroy the electronic targets; it just cuts off all electrical impulses and forces them to shut down.

  • Force Overload is a Universal Force power that was first used during the Great Droid Revolution. It’s a far more potent version of Droid Disable. The user focuses the energies around him and then he lets out a wave of interference. This can either be in a certain direction or in a circular motion; like ripples on the water. This wave short-circuits all electrical devices hit by the interference. The wave doesn’t destroy the electronic targets; it just cuts off all electrical impulses and forces them to shut down. If any electrical device is already turned off when the wave hits it, then it has no effect whatsoever on the device. Qidak Aaia reinvented this power by accident when he was training against a former droid assassin called Y-43. Caught up in taking the Living Force within himself, his talent for Telekinesis, and perhaps Telepathy, created the effect without him planning on it. After rediscovering the power, Qidak has used Force Overload several times since on all manner of electrical items when necessary. It is considered a Universal Force power since it has the capacity to be used for good or evil - from simply disabling an electronic impedance to deliberately shutting off environmental or life support systems.
