Jerry Mayer (May 12, 1941 - February 3, 2003) was an American actor who appeared in the show Miami Vice as Metro-Dade Homicide Detective Alessi, who knocked around one of the Haitian suspects trying to get a conviction in the drug rip-offs in the episode "Cool Runnin'".
