Carnegie Tower was a 64 metre high, 23 storey tower block in Dundee. It was built as part of a cluster of four blocks in 1968, on Alexander Street, Maxwelltown, to the east of the Hilltown. The blocks were brutalist in design, and were a prominent feature of the city's skyline from the south and east. The four blocks were demolished on July 31st, 2011 as part of Dundee Council's long-term housing strategy, which has seen the bulk of the town's unpopular multi-storey blocks demolished.
