| - The Command Class is the Cybran Nation's aircraft carrier. It is a large ship capable of sustaining great damage before sinking. It is capable of storing up to 50 aircraft. The Command Class is equipped with four Electron Autocannons (Anti-Air) and a Zapper for tactical missile defense. The Command Class must be escorted as it has no weapons apart from its AA guns and TMD. This vessel is also capable of constructing Cybran air units with some exceptions; it cannot build T1 or T3 bombers, any Cybran air transport, or any gunships (The ability to build T1 and T2 Gunships with the Command class carrier was added with patch 1.5.3603). Despite being unable to build them, it can house any Cybran aircraft (with the exception of the Soul Ripper, which was prevented from doing so; also in a patch). It has 2.5x higher build rate and cheaper than a T3 air factory and and can refuel and store aircraft. However, a proportionally larger amount of energy and mass is used per unit of time; much more than the standard T3 air factory. In the late game, if a player has surplus mass/energy, the carrier can ultimately replace T3 air factories for building air superiority fighters. This carrier differs from the other carriers, it launches its planes from the front instead of the sides (as the Keefer, the Iavish and the experimental carrier atlantis). So, if you face your carriers to the target your planes will fly without turning and at greater speeds. This enables strikes to be made faster and efficient. In a previous patch, you were able to store Mercy's. This vessel is not as effective as a group of T2 cruisers for AA unless you need a fire base or storage for air units. This unit is only marginally effective against large groups of T1 , T2 and/or T3 air units.
