Brogan is the founder of A.R.M.S. and has led it for 41 years. His diary is featured in the A Call to ARMS story in RuneScape's Lores section. He fought in many battles years ago, and when they ended he asked his fellow war veterans if they wanted to use their expertise to explore faraway lands. However, finding a leader proved to be difficult, and not very many people had money. A.R.M.S. was the solution to this problem; anyone could command and be given enough resources to find an expedition.
