Frank Topping (born 30th March 1937 in Birkenhead) appeared on Coronation Street as the Vicar of All Saints Church who officiated at the marriage of Ken Barlow and Deirdre Langton in July 1981. A Methodist minister, he is perhaps better known for his "Pause For Thought" slots on Terry Wogan's BBC Radio 2 breakfast show. His TV work includes his own series' Topping on Sunday and Sunday Best. He and his wife established their own theatre production company which toured the UK from time to time. His autobiography Laughing In My Sleep was published in 1993.
