Michael "Mike" Delfino was one of the protagonists and titular husbands of Desperate Housewives. Introduced as the new neighbour in Season 1, Mike comes to Wisteria Lane in hopes of finding out what happened to his former lover. He soon meets Susan Mayer and they subsequently fall in love. They later get married and have a son, MJ Delfino, together. However, after helping one of his neighbors, Mike's life is tragically ended when he is shot by a loan shark.
