  • Previous: Nazi tensions (CYOAH) When the war breaks out in Germany, Canaris realizes that it is the time he has been waiting for. Using British support, plus his complete dominance of the German intelligence network, he starts assassinating the other members of the Nazi Government and taking control of their loyalists. Eventually, he controls over half of the government. Then, in a lightning strike, he takes out the rest of the leaders who will not submit to him. With the govenrment firmly in the hands of Canaris, he begins repealing all the things that Hitler did. He shuts down the concentration camps, and disbands the Nazi party. He also withdrws from France, Poland, Denmark, and Norway. He refuses to remove German forces from Czechoslovakia and Austria, as he believes that since the Germans controlled them before the war, they needn't give up those territories. This causes some conflict, but the British finally accept the German claims to those territories. With the war in Europe finally over, each nation has to decide how they shall move on. Things could go any way from here, and only time will tell how it turns out. What is to become of Europe? * They become more distrustful and militarize * They grow closer, and rebuild their repsective economies. * One nation prepares for a war of conquest.
