This is the 2015-16 Northeast-10 Men's hockey season. The conference championship game originally scheduled for February 27th was postponed due to a mumps outbreak on the campus of St. Anselm College, including members of the men's hockey team. The school along with the New Hampshire Division of Public Health Services was working to deal with the situation. The game was announced as being cancelled on March 1st as both schools involved were on spring break thought March 13th. The schools and the conference announced that the game would not rescheduled. As part of the release the following statement was included:

As part of the release the following statement was included: "Current Conference policy addresses situations for all championships that have played at least one round and where unforeseen events necessitate cancellation of any subsequent round. That policy indicates the highest remaining seed will be declared the tournament champion. Stonehill College, by virtue of its regular season title and subsequent victory in the Feb. 20 semifinal, will be declared the 2016 champion." On February 13, 2016 the administration of Franklin Pierce University cancelled the balance of the men's hockey team season due to what was called a "hazing incident". The team had three games remaining on the schedule
