When Ahsoka and Devin both got on the shuttle transporting them to Christophis, Devin introduced himself to Ahsoka as they talked. Devin told Ahsoka a little bit about himself but before he could finish his story, he realized that they were touching down. As the two made their way across the city, much to Kallish's surprise, Kenobi did not attack Loathsom, surrendering instead. Devin quickly realized what was going on and decided to play along. After many hours of stalling, Loathsom realized the situation and attacked Kenobi, but Obi-Wan used Loathsom as a shield and Devin attacked the battle droids protecting him. The battle ended quickly and Obi-Wan started to take a liking to his new Padawan.
