  • Operation Sanskrit II was an unlaunched offensive military operation planned by the Royal Manticoran Navy during the Second Havenite-Manticoran War. It was a follow up operation to the successful Operation Sanskrit and planned as a deep raid against the defenses and infrastructure of the Jouett System. With the success of Operation Sanskrit against the second-tier Lovat System, the Strategy Board of the RMN decided to select a first-tier system as the objective of the next operation. Before the operation could be launched, however, the Republic of Haven launched Operation Beatrice, which resulted in the Battle of Manticore. (HH11)
