The United States of Greater Austria was formed in the aftermath of World War I after the negotiations forced a constitutional monarchy to be formed. After it became a Constitutional Monarchy, however, it began to grow in power and its pre-conversion ethnic and separatists problems disappeared almost entirely, opening a new era for the Empire, and allowing it to take advantage of future opportunities.
