James Potter is a series of five novels written by G. Norman Lippert. The series centres around James Potter, the son of Harry Potter, beginning eighteen years after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Unlike most fan-fiction, the series gained a wide amount of media attention upon release of the first book, being featured in The Scotsman newspaper, Canadian public radio, and many others worldwide. It even went so far as to have thought to be written by J. K. Rowling herself. This, however, was later disproved along with her announcement that she "supported the novel and any others like it".
