The American People's Revolutionary Alliance was a political party and movement in Peru that gained prominence in the 1930s. Its initial goals were against European imperialism, and thus were disliked by the pro-European Peruvian government. The group was outlawed and some of its members, such as Professor Julio Huertas, were exiled.
