However, in 138 ABY, after the defeat of the One Sith Order, Kadijević decided to join the new Galactic Federation Triumvirate. Being a General Field Marshal at the time, he was the one who signed the surrender of Krayt's Empire to the Empire-in-exile, Galactic Alliance Remnant, and New Jedi Order. During his time in the Imperial Military, Kadijević became a formidable tank driver, especially with the century tank ("TIE Crawler"). He led the 4th Armored Division, which was considered by Army Command to be one of the best armored units in the Imperial ground forces. Kadijević was from Delassin IV, an aquatic planet in the Outer Rim Territories. His family were traditionally sailors, but Kadijević wanted to "see the galaxy", and left his homeworld. He did this by joining the Imperial Army, and scoring above average on initial testing, he was placed into the Bastion Military Academy. He graduated in 119 ABY and was promoted to lieutenant.
