  • Eriador (Sindarin for Lonely Land/Wilderness) is a huge land of rolling grass plains. It is similar to the vanilla plains biome, other than the fact that it is even flatter and has the occasional oak, birch, spruce, or beech tree. Tall grass and flowers are widespread here, and Rangers of the North protect it against Gundabad Orcs. Eriador used to be mostly part of the North Kingdom of Arnor before this realm was destroyed by Angmar. Upon entering the region of Eriador, you will get the achievement "The Kindly West".
  • Eriador was a large region situated in northwestern Middle-earth. It was located between the Blue Mountains (to the west) and the Misty Mountains (to the east).
  • Eriador (S."Land between the Mountains") was a geographic region which includes all the territory north of the River Isen (S. "Sir Angren") and between the Blue Mountains (S. "Ered Luin") and the Misty Mountains. Its imprecise northern border lay along the highland ridge that ran westward from Carn Dûm in Angmar and reached to the Ice Bay of Forochel. Some accounts placed the southern border along the line bounded by the rivers Greyflood (S. "Gwathló") and Swanfleet (S. "Glanduin") Most, however, held it to be that area north of Gondor's traditional western border.
W Pierwszej Erze żyli tam ludzie i elfowie. Coraz więcej hobbitów przybywało do tych państw. Jednakże po latach 1300-1975, po wojnach z Angmarem i Wielkiej Zarazie, ludności zaczęło ubywać. Było za to coraz więcej hobbitów. W Eriadorze założyli Shire i Bree. Pod koniec Trzeciej Ery nieliczni mieszkańcy skupieni byli w Rivendell, B
  • Eriador is the region in Middle-Earth where both the LotR trilogy and LotRO start. It stretches from Ered Luin (the Blue Mountains) in the east, to the Misty Mountains in the west. People of all races live here. Hobbits dwell in The Shire, Dwarves in Thorin's Hall, and elves scattered throughout Eriador but mainly in Ered Luin and Rivendell. Men can be found everywhere in Eriador, but primarily in Breeland, Lone-Lands, and the North Downs.
