Kumoyoru no Borealis, literally Cloudy Night of the North, is one of Koutou's original techniques, branching out from Gekkou no Kumoyoru. Once activated, Koutou crosses his arms at the wrists, and in between his hands appears a misty blue chakra, which sends out the "moonbeams" of the original technique in a blanket strike. Once it strikes the target, the same blue misty chakra appears, more solidly, at the front of the technique, striking at them.
