The Everetti National Soccer Team represents the Union of Everett in international association football competition and is controlled by the Everetti Soccer Federation. The national soccer team was created in 2003 after Everett declared themselves independent from the United States, taking a lot of the great American players. They didn't qualify for the 2006 World Cup, and did badly in the American gold cups. However in 2009, Everett hosted the 2009 Gold Cup, and won. It came as a big surprise to American soccer fans. In 2009 they also managed to qualify for the 2010 World Cup and then again in the 2011 Women's World Cup where Everett lost to the Japanese in the finals.
