Smilin' Ed is an over-zealous salesman who appears in the 1985 Muppet Meeting Film, "Super Salesperson." In the film, he gives a five-hour lecture, describing his 67 Commandments of Salesmanship. However, his audience can't take much more and wishes for a coffee break. His uses this to his advantage during his talk on persuasion. He gets Leo to part with something important for a mere cup of coffee. Leo gladly yells he'd pay and arm and a leg for it, and so do the rest of the crowd, who bombard him with limbs.
