  • 1636: The Ottoman Onslaught is a sequel to both the Viennese Waltz and the Saxon Uprising, picking up the plot threads of both novels. The Ottoman Empire begins its assault on the Austrian-Hungarian Empire. Meanwhile, Mike Stearns and the Third Division began their march towards Bavaria, intending to bring it under USE control. Combining both historical and futuristic technologies and tactics, the Turkish Army is truly the greatest opponent that the people of Europe have faced. Weakened by the Thirty-Years War and the subsequent arrival of the Americans, Emperor Ferdinand III realizes that he needs to make amends with both Bohemia and the United States of Europe if Austria is going to survive. The Americans and their down-time Allies have fought off many obstacles to change history for the better. Yet, the greatest challenge comes from the Turks and their emperor, Murad IV. If the USE defeats the Ottoman Empire, then their dream of democracy and up-time ideals will no longer be opposed. However, should they lose, all of Europe will be at risk from the Empire of the Desert. The two most powerful nations of the world clash in this climatic novel!
