Hoss is seriously injured on a cattle drive and Ben takes him to a nearby town in search of a doctor. Unfortunately, the only physician is in jail, waiting to be hung for murder. Ben talks the judge into letting the doctor take a look at Hoss, and helps to prove the innocence of the medicine man.

- When Makuta Teridax anounced his plans to his fellow Makuta, Renegaid took Miserix's side. After Miserix's fall, Renegaid was captured and sentenced to be tortured. He made a hole in his armor and flew out it as Antidermis, escaping Makuta's Fortress. He took control of a burnt up tortured set of Makuta Armor and recruited all the Makuta that hated Teridax's plan and waged war on the Brotherhood! During this small war, Renegaid discovered a space craft and investigated it. He accidentally started it and it sped through spae, crash-landing on Bara Magna.
- Ax and the Animorphs are about to have a huge problem. It starts when they decide to morph mosquitoes in order to slip by some unsuspecting Yeerks. It ends with them stuck in Zero-space with no idea how they got there, no way to get back to Earth...and no oxygen. Luckily, an Andalite scout ship finds them before it's too late. But now Ax is finally with his own people. And he doesn't know if he ever wants to go back to Earth...
