abstract	Rhamda Avec arrives in San Francisco inquiring about Doctor Holcolm. When Avec seemingly is unaware of common facts regarding cigars and the sun, a clerk at a newstand alerts police detective, Albert Jerome. In course of conversation, Jerome takes Avec to meet Doctor Holcolm. The pair leave together. Later in the morning, Doctor Holcolm is discovered missing hen he fails to deliver a promised lecture. Rhamda Avec has disappeared as well. It discovered through further investigation that a doorway to another dimension, called the Blind Spot, exists in a mansion built in 1891. Rhamda Avec is from the Blind Spot, where Holcolm has disappeared. A group of investigators gradually assemble to search for Doctor Holcolm and Rhamda Avec. The latter returns to the mansion with the Blind Spot. He requests the investigators give him a finger-ring with a blue stone. The stone possesses unusual properties, including gravity-defying properties and producing moving images of Holcolm and his dog, Queen. Unable to convince the investigators to surrender the ring, Rhamda Avec leaves them. Travelling through the Blind Spot to a parallel world named Thomahlia, Chick Watson converses with Rhamda Geos. Rhamda Geos relays to Chick that Rhamda Avec belongs to a group of peaceful priests called the Rhamdas. The Rhamda priests maintain and attend the Temple of the Leaf. Bar Senestro is from another class of warrior priests on Thomahlia called the Bars. The Bar priests are antagonistic to the views held by the Rhamdas. Rhamda Avec Rhamda Avec is never seen again on Earth or Thomahlia.
