Tropical Depression One of the Atlantic entered the East Pacific and NHC added a -E suffix on to it on April 30. It then strengthened to a Tropical Storm named Adrian on May 12. Adrian gradually rapidly strengthened to a Category 4 on May 13, the first off-season Category 4+. It entered the Centeral Pacific on May 14 and was a high-end Category 4. On May 16, it entered the Western Pacific.
