Zundulark spaceport was a spaceport on Innik. It was unusual in being located entirely underground. • Zundulark spaceport was a spaceport on Innik. It was unusual in being located entirely underground. Several square kilometers were devoted to the "landing area"; each docking bay was underground and covered with a retractable durasteel canopy, which opened to admit entry and closed again once ships were inside. Zundulark spaceport was nearly as deep as it was wide, and connected to neighboring cities by high-speed underground rail. It had a mall, several bars and cantinas, hotels and inns, a few brothels, and one casino, all of which were aimed at keeping offworlders entertained and happy while the native Toorks themselves dealt with inbound and outbound cargo. Many aliens found the entirely underground nature and the narrow passageways discomfiting, and so most of the hotels were close to the docking bays. The spaceport was guarded by Zundulark Spaceport Security. ZSS had a reputation in the Golden Empire for a heavy-handed, no-nonsense approach to troublemakers. Though its force of native Toorks carried stun batons and blaster pistols, they often resolved issues with only their natural toughness and strength.
