| - She's six foot tall blonde, shapely, and an avid fitness buff, training on a Bowflex machine every night. She served as a Marine Drill Instructor at Parris Island. She and her deceased husband, Clarke shared many adventures, including climbing Mt. Everest—twice. He is quite likely meant to be an allusion to Doc Savage. She fills her loneliness with her girls; in fact, she takes the title "house mother" more literally than most, seeing the girls as surrogate daughters. She is a baseline, but has a magical necklace (supplied by Circe) that warns her of trouble. She was able to sense it when Loophole teleported her armor into her dorm room. She was also able to navigate Murphy's spatial distortions; whether this was due to the necklace or merely her experience as an adventurer was not explained. She has a tendency to seemingly appear from nowhere. She has a Gadget her husband made, that allows her to scan the Cottage for cameras, scrying magic, and other forms of peeping. "She has an ongoing feud with Mrs. Nelson and Mrs. Selkirk, the housemothers of Dickinson Cottage, and tends to subtly encourage her girls to prank the Dickinsons. She shares the Whitman housemother duties with Angela Hollingberry. She has a temper and is less permissive than some other house parents, but cares deeply for her girls and relishes being able to make a difference in their lives. An entity called a Caliban has been interfering with Mrs. Savage's perceptions in order to fan the feud between Diamondback and Psydoe.
