  • Lucky Start is a badge in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Mario can wear this badge for four BP, and while wearing this badge, Mario can get one of many status effects inflicted onto him. Each of these effects lasts for three turns and these effects include: * Gradual HP recovery similar to Happy Heart * Gradual FP recovery similar to Happy Flower * Electrified barrier surrounding Mario similar to Zap Tap * Dodginess similar to the effect of Repel Cape To obtain Lucky Start, Mario must defeat the Atomic Boo in Creepy Steeple. In the Steeple, Mario unlocks a box containing many boos, and once the boos are released, they will haunt the central hallway. If Mario keeps damaging the boos that try to attack him, they will turn on Mario and fight him. The boos fuse together and create the Atomic Boo, and after the battle ends, Mario is rewarded with this badge.
