The Jiggins Lane Estate was a council estate located on the southeastern side of Jiggins Lane in the Bartley Green area of south Birmingham. The estate was bordered to the east and south by Senneleys Park and to the north and west by Jiggins Lane. In the 2000s, as part of wider regeneration plans for the area, the three tower blocks were demolished and replaced with modern semi-detached housing.

  • The Jiggins Lane Estate was a council estate located on the southeastern side of Jiggins Lane in the Bartley Green area of south Birmingham. The estate was bordered to the east and south by Senneleys Park and to the north and west by Jiggins Lane. Construction of the estate first commenced in 1955, with the laying out of Kingsbridge Road, Bickington Road and Tamerton Road. The estate was predominantly lowrise with terraced housing plus three 6 storey tower blocks along the southern edge of the estate. Each block contained 35 flats and was built by Wates. The estate was further expanded with more terraced and semi-detached housing being constructed to the west, and the construction of Kirkwall Road and Monmouth Road to link the estate to the Athol Farm estate. In the 2000s, as part of wider regeneration plans for the area, the three tower blocks were demolished and replaced with modern semi-detached housing.
