Rakshasha Pride is a large, active Nietzschean pride. Its homeworld is Carva-Rakhshasa, which is sparsely populated and has a varied climate. The Rakshasha are scavengers, and usually do not attack larger vessels, choosing to prey on the smaller, less formidable starships they come across. Although the Rakshasha is a relatively large pride, they wield very little actual power. The Andromeda Ascendant's first encounter with them was when a boarding party led by pride member Calleb Voth took File-D from the Systems Commonwealth vessel Magellan Melrow. The Melrow was en route to a nearby planet, where the New Systems Commonwealth intended to store File-D, but the weapon was accidentally activated when the Nietzscheans attacked the ship, and destroyed the crew members' minds.
