| - Zaalbar was a Wookiee who lived on Taris with his friend, Mission Vao. He was captured by a band of Gamorreans when he and Mission were exploring the Lower Sewers of the Undercity. He swore a life debt to Revan when the redeemed Dark Lord freed him from the slavers. File:ZaalbarBowcaster.jpg Zaalbar accompanied Revan on his quest for the Star Forge all the way until the end. On Kashyyyk he met his brother, who detained him until Revan could kill the "madclaw" living in the Shadowlands, who turns out to be Zaalbar's father. Revan later freed Zaalbar from his brother.

- Zaalbar is a character in the Knights of the Old Republic series. He was a Wookiee banished from his home for using his claws in aggression when he discovered that his brother collaborated with slavers of the Czerka Corporation. He eventually left for Taris where he stumbled upon Mission Vao. Members of the Black Vulkar gang tried to fight Zaalbar, prompting Mission to fight the Vulkars. When one of the members knocked her out, Zaalbar scared them by grabbing one of them by the throat. They became friends because of this encounter.
