Lady Lindeva was a young girl who was cousin to the Prince of Thumbumbia. One day, on the coldest day of the year, the Prince and his cousin went outside to play. Their shadows were frozen solid by Jack Frost and the shadows escaped into the Forest of Burzee. Meanwhile the King of Thumbumbia died and the crown was offered the Prince. When it was noted that the Prince had no shadow, the crown was offered to Lindeva as next in line. However, she also did not have a shadow.
