From an early age, Ulver was brought up hard and competitive. He was pushed through the hardest of the Hellfyre trials. It had been determined that he had immense power in the Force and would lead one of the Hellfyre teams. He learned quickly, forced to. His potential was slowly beginning to be tapped and his teachers were extremely pleased. They instilled him the Hellfyre values of a constant vigilance against the Dark Side, and a lack of mercy to one's enemies. He took to the teachings and made them his own personal code. Over the years, he was taught by the best of Hellfyre's battlemasters, and forced to master a wide variety of the different lightsaber combat styles. He had to be prepared for anything and constantly had his Force skills tested, in addition to his people skills and leadership skills. The results confirmed what the higher ups in the Hellfyre organization had deduced years before. Ulver Estrel was a powerful well versed Jedi. They declared him a Jedi Knight when he was twenty and sent him to assume leadership of Hellfyre Alpha
