- The Swallows take their name from their borrowed dinghy the Swallow. They are all members of the Walker family staying at as paying guests with the Jacksons of Holly Howe. The Swallows consist of:

* Titty Walker Able seaman
* Roger Walker Ship's Boy (later promoted to Able seaman) Other occasional members of the crew are:
* Bridget Walker Ship's Baby
* Gibber Ship's monkey

| - Swallows was a crew that sailed the Viridian Ocean. Its captain was Melonking, he was one of the best captains known and has long experiences. The crew although considered one of the best is small and always welcomes new pirates to join. You can often find Melonking or one of his officers on Lima Island and they will happily help you to join if you are in need of a crew or if you are in a bad level in your crew and are looking for more. The Swallows have just lashed a new system where if you are good at the puzzles and log on every day you will soon be promoted to a higher level. This idea was made by Merd but on a sad day he left the crew and took with him 47 ships, so if you have a crew watch out for him. They function almost like a family in microcosm, with John taking on the responsible role of father and leader, and Susan in the position of caring for the crew's safety and wellbeing. Titty and Roger function as the crew, and often have adventures together, when John and Susan are either unavailable or uninterested. Although the younger two tend to get involved in their own exploits without the involvement of John and Susan, the older two have the more responsibility, which leads to their decisions often carrying more weight.
