| - This is a transcript for the episode of Parappa the Rapper the Series, The Initial P!!.
* [It is night time in Parappa Town. The moon is seen, then the houses, as the view focuses on the rooftops from a bird's eye view and moves accross. It stops at Parappa's house. An owl on a tree branch falls as the branch breaks].
* [Panoramic view of Parappa's room, he is sleeping in his bed. Close up on his face as he sleeps, close up on the moon outside. The owl that fell re-perches on another branch.]
* [View of buildings in a city, then focusing on a manhole, then a fire hydrant, then the manhole again. The manhole shakes, then someone's hand is seen opening it from the inside. Only his hands and his eyes are seen looking out from inside. He comes out, and it turns out it is Gaster!]
* Gaster: This town is going to get what's coming to it! [close up on his face, which has a sinister look] All Right!
* [Title Card]
* [The perched owl is seen again. View of the front of Parappa's house as Gaster is tiptoe-ing accross the screen. He spots Parappa's bike.]
* Gaster: A bike!
* [Gaster imagines himself on the bike, posing. He is interrupted from his thoughts as he falls. He then runs over to the bike, then gets on it and rides away down the street.]
* Gaster: All Right!
* [Morning breaks as the view is still on the path Gaster rode away on.]
* [View of Parappa's house as a chicken walks accross the screen. Close up on Parappa's face as he's still asleep, but with a smile on his face.]
* Pinto: Big brother... [Pinto and Uee's hands shake him awake]
* [Parappa awakens]
* Pinto: Wake up! Wake up!
* Parappa: [as he sits up in his bed] What is it Pinto?
* Pinto : Sunny's on the phone right now.
* Parappa: She is? [his face looks tired, then he looks surprised] Ah!
* [Flashback to yesterday]
* Katy: Sister Corn's garage sale is tommorrow, Parappa. Will you be able to make it?
* Parappa: Sure I will!
* Sunny: I hope you can come tomorrow, Parappa.
* Parappa: Ok.
* [End of flashback. Parappa's face is still frozen in the way it was when he started flashing back, Pinto is still pointing in the direction of the phone].
* Pinto: Um... phone.
* Parappa: [moves around frantically] Gah! I promised I would be there! [he sprints out of bed, but he trips over the blankets and rolls on the floor]
* [View of Pinto staring as Parappa answers the phone]
* Parappa: Oh, hi Sunny.
* [Cut to the kitchen, where Papa Parappa is sitting at the table eating a sandwich.]
* Papa Parappa: Mmm, yum, delicious. [he notices Parappa running downstairs and out the door]
* [Parappa opens the front door and runs outside]
* Parappa: Gotta get going! [he notices his bike is gone] Where'd my bike go? [he panics and searches for it frantically] Where is it?!
* [Cut to a basketball bouncing on the ground. View of PJ's face as he sports his usual bored look, then Matt's hand bouncing the ball, then PJ's face, then Matt's hand]
* Matt: Ok, PJ, I'm gonna make it. [he dashes off to make a basket] [PJ notices Parappa running down the street]
* PJ: Hey, Parappa! [Walks up to Parappa]
* Parappa: Oh, hey.
* PJ: Where are you going?
* Parappa: I'm going to the garage sale. I promised Sunny and Katy I would be there.
* PJ: What about the promise you made to me? You said you promised, remember?
* [Flashback]
* Parappa: Hey, let's play basketball! [PJ just lies on the bench looking at Parappa] Let's play tommorow! [PJ still lies on the bench looking at Parappa] All right?
* [End flashback]
* PJ: You remember, don't you? [Parappa's has a delirious look on his face]
* Parappa: I remember.
* PJ: Remember what?
* Parappa: I remember... [Parappa looks spaced out as his head starts steaming]
* Matt: [offscreen] PJ! Why'd you run off?
* PJ: Oh, hang on a second.
* Parappa: Who's that?
* PJ: My friend Matt from Club Fun.
* Matt: Why so startled? My name's Matt, I'm PJ's good pal from Club Fun. So, what are you best at? It's alright, don't worry about it [extends hand for a handshake] Nice to meet you.
* Parappa: [steps up to him to shake his hand] Nice to meet you too.
* PJ: Aren't you forgetting something?
* Parappa: Gah! How could I forget?!
* [Sunny and Katy come walking down the street]
* Katy: [waves] Parappa!
* Parappa: Hi, Katy! Hi, Sunny!
* PJ: Parappa can't go to the garage sale with you. [Parappa sweatdrops as PJ continues] He's playing basketball with us.
* [Katy and Sunny look shocked]
* Katy: Oh, is that so?
* Parappa:[continues to sweatdrop] Uh, well...
* Sunny: What about the promise you made?
* PJ: And what about our promise?
* Katy: [angry] Parappa!
* PJ: Parappa...?
* [Parappa sweats and looks confused]
* Katy: Garage sale!
* PJ: Basketball!
* Sunny: You promised, Parappa.
* PJ: And what about our promise?
* Sunny: I can't beleive it.
* Parappa: Neither can I! This is whole thing is insane! [Parappa has an even more confused look on his face] Gah! I can't decide which promise I should keep!
* Girl: How 'bout the basketball? We can start a game on the court right away.
* Katy: Who are you?
* Girl: That's a question I should be asking you first. By the way, that's an intersting outfit you're wearing.
* Katy: What's with your outfit?
* Paula: The "P" is for "Paula", but in case you forget, you can just... call me "P".
* Parappa: Nice to meet you.
* PJ: What he said.
* [Katy is enraged and sparks are flying from her head. She and Paula, who looks smug, stare at each other until Sunny grabs Katy and carries her.]
* Sunny: Ok, time to go now! [Parappa stares while she runs while still holding Katy] don't wanna be late!
* Katy: Sunny, put me down!
* Parappa: Sunny...
* [PJ, Matt and Paula are standing and staring, then Paula grabs the basketball from Matt's hands.]
* Paula: Ok, I'll start us off now. [giggles]
* Matt: [sweatdrops and shrugs] You sure have some interesting friends, PJ. [PJ smiles]
* PJ: Mm-hm.
* [Parappa is standing in the middle of the street]
* Parappa: Sunny left... without me.
* Paula: [grabs Parappa's arm] Hey, c'mon! Aren't you gonna play with us?
* Parappa: I...
* [Cut to Katy and Sunny walking to the garage sale. Katy is walking and still fuming, with the electricity still sparking from her head]
* Katy: [reffering to Paula] She's got some nerve.
* Sunny: Maybe you should relax, like P, she's pretty calm.
* Katy: [angry] Like P?!... [calms down] Don't mention her...
* Sunny: Why not? Hm... anyways, I like Sister Gon's garage sales, they're always so nice.
* Katy: I guess you're right. Let's go.
* Sunny: Ok.
* [Cut to Paula holding the basketball. She runs and then alley-oops it into the hoop. The ball bounces to PJ, who just smacks it up with one hand into the hoop. The ball bounces to Parappa, who catches it]
* Parappa: Catch, Matt! [passes it to Matt, who catches it]
* Matt: Yeah! [he runs with the ball to the hoop and slam dunks it]
* Parappa: Slam dunk! Ok, my turn!
* Paula: I'm really thirsty... I sure could use a soda.
* Matt: Do you really need one?
* Paula: I need one or I can't play to my full potential.
* Matt: You won't get it by just wanting it.
* Parappa: Hey, hey, hey. I'll go get the soda.
* [Parappa walks back with the canned soda]
* Parappa: Here you go, Paula! [notices Paula is missing] Hey, where's Paula?
* PJ: She left a while ago.
* Matt: What was she thinking?
* PJ: Dunno.
* Parappa Aw, man...
* [cut to bird's eye view of Sister Corn's garage sale, then Sister Corn, who is fixing a machine.]
* Sister Corn: That's strange, this machine should work now that I fixed it.
* [Katy and Sunny are standing by a clothing rack sorted by era]
* Katy: The clothes on this rack are all from the 1960's. [rumages and finds a red crosshatch skirt] this skirt would look really nice on you, even though it was in style back then.
* Sunny: That sounds interesting, I think I'll try it.
* Paula:[offscreen] Sunny!
* Katy and Sunny: Huh?
* Paula: I wouldn't even try on those 60's clothes.
* Sunny: You wouldn't?
* Katy: There is nothing wrong with that skirt.
* Paula: Hey, Katy.
* Katy: What is it?
* Paula: You have no fashion sense.
* Katy: Wha? [steaming] Have you been following me?
* Paula: No, I haven't been following you. I'm just saying you have no fashion sense.
* Katy: [steaming] And just what makes you say that?!
* Paula: It's the truth.
* Katy: That is so not true!
* Paula:It is so!
* Sunny: Um, Katy...?
* [Katy stares Paula in the face and seethes angrily]
* [Cut to the basketball court. Someone throws the ball to Parappa, who catches it. He dribbles it past PJ. Matt comes by and steals the ball from Parappa]
* Parappa: Well, I'm out. You took the ball.
* Sunny: [waves] Parappa!
* Parappa: Oh, hi, Sunny!
* Sunny: Katy is going balistic because of Paula!
* Parappa: Really?
* Sunny: She's going nuts! You guys should come and see.
* Matt: Are they fighting? What is it about? Is it about diamonds?
* PJ: Maybe we should go see.
* Parappa: Katy and Paula are fighting? What would girls fight about?
* [Parappa imagines what their fight might be like]
* Katy: I am much prettier than you are! [gets hand mirror and starts putting on makeup]
* Paula: Ha, in your dreams! [gets hand mirror and starts putting on makeup]
* [they both put on a barrage of makeup. They are both shown to have big heads with an excessive amount of makeup on their faces]
* Katy: I'm prettier than you are!
* Paula: No, I'm prettier!
* [they both stare each other down for a few seconds, then put on more makeup]
* [Parappa runs in] Girls, girls, There is no need to be fighting... ah?
* [Katy's large head seems to be melting, as does Paula's. They both liquefy and then wash over Parappa. Parappa appears to be sinking to the bottom of the liquid. He then awakens in a puddle of their faces.]
* [End sequence. Parappa comes back to reality in a startled fashion. His friends stare at him.]
* Sunny: Parappa, are you ok? [Parappa sweatdrops and smiles at them]
* [Cut to Sister Corn's garage sale. There is a panoramic view of the place.]
* [Paula is pinching Katy's cheeks] How do you like this?! Looks good on ya!
* Katy: What if you looked like this? [pulls on Paula's face]
* [The other customers are standing staring at them]
* [Parappa runs in] Paula, Katy! There is no need to fight, so the both of you should stop right now! I mean it!
* Katy: [still holding on to Paula's face] Huh?
* Paula: [still holding on to Katy's face] What?
* Katy: Parappa?
* Paula: where'd you go, Parappa?
* [the girls let go of each other's faces, which are now loose and wobble]
* Parappa: No way... weird.
* Sister Corn: Thank you so much for coming here! [talking to her money] Now I'll just put you away nice and safe for today. Ah. I wonder what I will buy with all this money, maybe I should- [starts to imagine what she would to with the money, but is interrupted by someone]
* Man: I'm home!
* [Sister Corn rushes to him] Hello.
* [the camera closes in on then shows a close up on the safe]
* [Cut to a pink bird perched on the roof, then a close up on Gaster's grinning face.]
* Gaster: [riding Parappa's stolen bike] Heh, heh, heh, I wonder what I should do next? I think I'll stop here! [screeches to a halt. He looks around Sister Gon's garage sale. Katy and Paula are seen still fighting and pulling each other's faces. He spots the safe.]
* Gaster: Aha, a safe! I bet it's got lots of cash. [his voice echoes the last line as he imagines the money inside it] Maybe more! [imagines more money] Or even more! [imagines more money] Or even moooooore! [imagines the money overflowing in the safe] [his thought cloud gets heavy and starts weighing down on his head as he struggles to hold it up] Argh! Stay up! [his thought cloud crushes him]
* [Cut to Parappa sweatdropping and still watching Paula and Katy fighting]
* Paula: You have zero fashion sense!
* Katy: You're the one with zero fashion sense!
* Sunny: [offscreen] Parappa... [Parappa turns around to look at Sunny] please break up their fight? Please, Parappa?
* Parappa: Ok, Sunny. [looks triumphant] I'll do it!
* Parappa: Hey! The both of you! Stop fighting right now! [Katy and Paula pull on Parappa's face]
* Katy: Imagine if Parappa looked like this! [Paula and Katy both let go and then laugh as Parappa's face looks droopy.]
* Parappa: Oh, no! What happened to me?
* PJ: Look at that! [Matt and Sunny start laughing]
* Parappa: [sigh] Even Sunny's laughing at me...
* Katy: [offscreen] She's not laughing at you, Parappa. [Parappa turns to look at Katy, who is holding one hand up and the other in a fist] Now, look away. I don't want you to watch this, it won't be pretty.
* Parappa: Oh, alright. [looks away]
* Paula: If your skills are as good as your fashion sense, I shouldn't feel worried.
* Katy: I've just about had it with you!
* Parappa: [looks at Katy] Uh, you ok?
* Katy: Grr! You're starting to annoy me! Well, you've bugged me for the last time! I hope that when I'm done with you, you will think twice about ever, ever messing with me!
* Paula: Oh, so is that going to prove you're better than me?
* Katy: Well, yes, maybe it will!
* Paula: You don't need to get angry, if you don't like me, then nobody's forcing you to.
* Parappa: Katy and Paula are really going at it.
* Sunny: Uh-huh.
* Matt: So, what should we do now?
* PJ: Dunno.
* Katy: I may have just met you, but I know I don't like you!
* Paula: Oh, is that so? After all, you're the one with no fashion sense and probably can't take me on.
* Katy: Oh yeah? Well, I'll show you, and make you eat those words!
* Matt: PJ, do you think she'll do it?
* PJ: Let's see.
* Paula: So you really think you can, huh? Well, alright [taunts Katy with a come-hither motion] take your best shot.
* [Katy, who is now wearing boxing gloves, tries to get at her] Alright, you asked for it!!
* [Paula sidesteps Katy's attack] Whoopsie.
* [Katy then crashes into a tent] Wah! [Gaster is inside the tent, trying to make off with the safe, he sees Katy then a question mark appears above his head. Katy then ends up punching Gaster. The tent is seen from the outside and bouncing around from the impact.]
* Sister Corn: [as she sees the tent] What's going on?
* [Katy is seen holding the safe as dust sifts around her] Oh, I've gone and done it, I'm in big trouble now.
* [Sister Corn appears] Who's there?
* Katy: Oh, Sister Corn!
* Sister Corn: Katy, what is that you're holding?
* Katy: I'm so sorry!
* Sister Corn: That's my safe.
* Katy: The safe... [Katy shakes her body side to side while holding the safe]
* [Parappa and Sunny rush to the scene]
* Sunny: Is everything ok?
* Sister Corn: It's Katy. She's trying to steal the money from the garage sale.
* Katy: I wasn't! Really.
* [from a worm's eye view, Gaster can be seen holding on to one of the celing's beams]
* Parappa: But the safe-
* Katy: No, it's not what it looks like!
* Sunny: Katy... how could you?
* Katy: You too, Sunny?
* Parappa: Oh, Katy...
* Katy: Stop it, Parappa.
* Matt: Katy, please don't.
* Katy: Who are you?
* [PJ walks across and points to Matt] That's Matt, my friend from Club Fun.
* Katy: Oh, hi.
* Matt: Nice to meet you. I'm Matt Major! I'm PJ's best friend from Club Fun!
* Paula [from outside the hole in the tent wall that Katy made] Right now, let's get back to what's really important, Katy's attempt to rob the garage sale. She might be lying but... [points] it might have just been a cover up so she can get to the safe! [she walks up to Katy]
* Katy: Huh?
* Paula: Katy, was there anyone else here when you came in?
* Katy: Hmm... as a matter of fact, there was.
* Parappa: [sees his bike] That must be the theif's...
* Katy: Who's bike is that?
* Paula: This bike must belong to the theif.
* Parappa: But, that's my bike!
* Paula: So Parappa's the theif!
* Katy: It makes sense now.
* Parappa: What?! No way! My bike was stolen this morning!
* Sunny: So that means, someone took Parappa's bike and then tried to get away with the money from the garage sale's safe.
* [Gaster then jumps down from his hiding place and Sunny shrieks]
* Parappa: Ah?
* [Gaster runs towards Parappa's bike]
* Sister Corn: Who are you?!
* Gaster: I'm Gaster! I'm going to give Parappa what he's got coming to him! [he gets on Parappa's bike]
* Parappa: Hey! That's my bike!
* Paula and Katy: So you're the theif!
* Gaster: See ya! [rides away]
* Sister Corn:Help! Stop! Theif!
* Katy: Parappa, we better do something.
* Parappa: I know, but how? He got away with my bike.
* Sister Corn: Help! There is a shoplifter on the loose!
* [Paula gets a scooter] Here, use this!
* Katy: Hurry, there's no time to lose!
* Parappa: This will do nicely. [rides away after Gaster] Stop!
* Sunny: [waves as she has a smile on her face] Parappa is so cool!
* Paula: Hm... I wouldn't say that.
* Katy:[nods] Uh-huh.
* Sunny: Did you have to go and say that?
* Katy: But it seems true.
* Paula: [nods] Uh-huh. We have to try and catch that theif.
* Katy: But how?
* Sunny: Hey, you two stopped arguing just now.
* [Paula and Katy realize that they were not arguing]
* Katy: Um, thanks, I guess.
* Paula: Oh, it was nothing.
* Sunny: I wonder what Parappa is doing right now.
* Katy: Sister Corn, do you mind if we borrowed something from the shop?
* Sister Corn: What do you have in mind?
* Paula: It would have to be something we could use to keep up with Parappa.
* Sister Corn: I've got just the thing! [she dashes off-screen for a second]
* Sunny: [points in the direction Parappa went] Dosen't seem like we could.
* [Sister Corn returns in a tank] Ok, girls, let's go!
* [They are seen riding on the tank]
* Paula, Katy and Sunny: Yeah!
* [PJ walks by] Looks like they left us behind.
* Matt: Yeah.
* PJ: What now?
* Matt: Maybe... we could finish playing basketball.
* PJ: That sounds cool.
* [view of donwtown as the chase continiues. Gaster turns into an alley, only to find it is a dead end.]
* Gaster: A dead end!
* Parappa: [offscreen] Stop! [he rides up on screen behind Gaster] No use running now!
* Gaster: Well, at least my bike got me this far this fast.
* Parappa: [steaming] That's my bike, not yours!
* Gaster: Not anymore.
* Sister Corn's tank crashes through the side wall. The girls pop out from the top]
* Katy: Wait a second. [Parappa looks surprised as the girls jump down and run towards him. In a cloud of smoke, Paula and Katy alterate Parappa's clothes. Sunny walks up to watch.]
* Katy: Voila!
* Sunny: That looks pretty cool!
* [Gaster rides away]
* Parappa: He's getting away!
* Katy: That outfit looks pretty good, dosen't it?
* Sunny: It does!
* Paula: Well, we better get going.
* Sister Corn: Then hurry up and let's go!
* [cut to the wiew of the river, moving to the path of the chase]
* Parappa: Give me my bike back!
* [a subramrine peeks out of the river. Sunny pops out and waves to Parappa]
* Sunny: Parappa!
* Paula and Katy: Go get him, Parappa!
* [Parappa waves to them and then looks towards the path with determination]
* Paula: [reffering to Gaster] Now, his outfit just won't do.
* Katy: Maybe we should fix it.
* Sunny: [waves] Parappa!
* [Sister Corn flies above in a plane]
* Gaster: Oh, great! This is just perf-
* Parappa: Stop right the- [bumps into Gaster]
* [The plane turns around and files by Parappa and Gaster, who are seen lying on the road unconcious. The girls jump down from the plane. Paula and Katy run towards Gaster as Sunny waves to Sister Corn.]
* Paula: [as she and Katy alter Gaster's clothes] Almost there...
* Katy: Now, the finishing touch...
* Both: Perfect!
* [Gaster comes to and stands up to find he is wearing a disco suit] Gah! What's this?!
* [The girls laugh at him]
* [Gaster faces the audience] Do you know who I am? I'm known for being dark, despicable and notorious! [he turns to the girls with his arms up it hte air as if he's about to get them] I'l show you! [The girls run away] You'll pay for this! You'll all see!
* [He walks up to the bike, but Parappa is standing in front of it]
* Parappa: That would be mine!
* [Gaster walks up to the scooter and gets on]
* Parappa: Sister Corn's safe!
* Gaster: I'm gettin' outta here! [rides off]
* [Parappa gets on his bike and rides after him] Stop!
* [Cut to a basketball bouncing on the ground. View of PJ's face as he sports his usual bored look. The court's gae is boarded up.]
* Matt: I wish they didn't have to do construction now.
* Pj: Yeah, me too, Matt.
* Paula, Katy and Sunny: [offscreen] Help!
* [Matt turns around and sees the girls running down the street.] Help!
* Matt: Ok, I don't get what that's all about, but... let's go. [starts running]
* PJ: I'm coming, Matt. [starts running after him. They are followed by the girls who are followed by Gaster who is followed by Parappa.]
* Parappa: You get back here!
* [Cut to a pink bird perched on the roof of Sister Corn's garage sale again. Sister Corn is fixing the jellybean machine]
* Sister Corn: I guess the jellybean machine just won't work. I wonder what's taking everyone so long to get the safe back.
* Katy: [offscreen] Hey! [Sister Corn turns around to see what's going on.] Why were you running?
* Mat: [steaming] It seemed like a good idea!
* Paula: Well, that was a bad idea!
* [Gaster rides up to them] Well, well. Since I got you here, there's nowhere left to- [Something knocks Gaster into the air, he lands on the jellybean machine, and bounces off of it. He then lands on his feet and strikes a pose, then the safe falls on his head and plows him halfway into the ground.]
* [The jellybean machine starts working and sprays jellybeans up itno the air.]
* Sister Corn: Well it looks like the jellybean machine works after all.
* [Parappa runs over to the safe on Gaster's head and picks it up. Panoramic view of his friends standing and smiling. He walks up to Katy and gives her the safe.] Here it is.
* [under a shower of jellybeans, Katy walks up to Sister Corn and hands her the safe.]
* Katy: Here you go, Sister Corn.
* Sister Corn: Thank you.
* Sunny: Sometimes, Katy can be really nice.
* Paula: [smiles] Uh-huh.
* Parappa: Thank goodness.
* [The jellybean machine continues to spray jellybeans upward wildly. PJ is looking up with his mouth wide open, trying to catch some jellybeans in it]
* Matt: PJ, are those really jellybeans?
* Parappa: Yeah!
* [Parappa and his friends run and dance in the shower of jellybeans. Matt is standing next to PJ, who is still trying to catch jellybeans in his mouth. Zoom out, where the view of Gaster in the ground can also be seen, then fade to black.]
