After 10,000 years of constant experimentation, the surface of Mortaguard now writhes with undead dismembered bodies that retain a low sentience. The warband crafts some of the most devastating biological weapons in existence and are adept at the art of producing new plague marines in a prolific manner. These traits have made them highly sought after by ambitious chaos lords, who seek to use their power for their own means. In return the Angels receive more captives and gene seed. However, this is a massive risk - the Angels are just as likely to turn on their allies and harvest their bodies.
