The RC430M features a retro design, including a traditional bolt-on neck with a plate joint and gloss-finished round-profile neck. It has a basswood body and a maple neck with a 22-fret maple fingerboard with dot inlays. Components include a non-locking synchronized tremolo bridge and Ibanez pickups. The RC430M is among only a handful of Ibanez models with a triple single coil pickup configuration. The RC430 is a similar model with a rosewood fretboard. It was discontinued after 2015 along with the rest of the Roadcore line.
