Admiral Rae Sloane's personal assistant Adea Rite attempted to use her training in the arts on the planet Akiva in order to subdue the escaped prisoner Wedge Antilles; however, she was defeated when Antilles accidentally shot her with a blaster during the brawl. The art shared its name with the Echani species.
