- In the Pokémon Mansion of Cinnabar Island, a Team Rocket grunt snarls that Blaine has betrayed them and will pay. Approaching Cinnabar Island, Red sees a fire and decides to check it out. He finds Team Rocket confronting Blaine's Arcanine and Rapidash; unfortunately, Red is spotted and initially believed to be Blaine. They attack Red, but Blaine reveals himself, calling them off and telling them to come after Blaine himself. Recognizing Blaine's compassion, the grunt threatens Red and then attacks Blaine with Gengar's Night Shade.
- A few kids playing with a nail get close to Yuuri, who asks if he wants to become a carpenter. The kid states that all boys become soldiers when they grow up. A woman then invites him to wait inside the church for his traveling companion. It was a trap and Yuuri gets locked inside. Gwendal also gets himself captured and they find out that the towns people believe that they're the couple on the posters - a wanted poster for elopers. Yuuri's groped by the soldiers who say "she's" flat as a board and Gwendal protests that the sketch looks nothing like him. The soldiers think the Sea World stamp is proof of their elopement, as some places brand elopers. - Inside of the hotel that Yoshito is staying at, Koyuki is nervous, because Yoshito left him alone to go make phone calls. When Yoshito returns, he takes a seat next to Koyuki and tells him that things will be decided at Greatful Sound. He challenges Koyuki that if Maho watches Belle Ame perform that Koyuki is not allowed to speak to Maho ever again. Koyuki agrees to the challenge, so long as Yoshito does the same if Maho watches BECK instead. Later, back at their tent, Saku asks Koyuki if he can get him anything, but Koyuki is too unhappy.
