Jessica is also a Twisted maintainer and wrote the 2nd edition of Twisted Networking Essentials and a chapter on Twisted for The Architecture of Open Source Applications, Volume II. She is currently working on the 4th edition of Linux Device Drivers with O'Reilly. She received the O'Reilly Open Source Award in 2013 for her contributions to the Python community. Jessica is a frequent conference speaker; some of her talks include a Kiwi PyCon 2013 keynote, PyCon Canada 2012 keynote, DjangoCon Europe 2012 keynote, and numerous technical and community-focused talks and tutorials.
