The Silence Sword (サイレスの剣, Sairesu no ken) is an unused Sword from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. Like its name suggests, this sword was created with the express purpose of bestowing its wielder with the ability to inflict the Silence condition upon a selected enemy unit. In spite of the fact that the sword has been so contrived within the game's code that it is perfectly functional, it is, however, for reasons unknown, removed from the main game data, such that it is neither obtainable nor wielded by any enemy units during the course of any given play-through.
