Evan Bauer is a former soldier, who served in Afghanistan, and an accomplice of Radford Hayes along with Jack Cochran. Bauer and Cochran were recruited by Radford Hayes in order to make a dirty bomb and plant it in a U.S city, which would stimulate a terrorist attack and stir up the anti terrorist sentiment again. The 3 of them were able to successfully make this bomb, but were found out by a former Syrian nuclear physicist-turned-Immigrant American cabbie Amir Alhabi, doing some surveillance, which forced Hayes to have Amir killed and all the evidence of what they were up to destroyed.

abstract	Evan Bauer is a former soldier, who served in Afghanistan, and an accomplice of Radford Hayes along with Jack Cochran. Bauer and Cochran were recruited by Radford Hayes in order to make a dirty bomb and plant it in a U.S city, which would stimulate a terrorist attack and stir up the anti terrorist sentiment again. The 3 of them were able to successfully make this bomb, but were found out by a former Syrian nuclear physicist-turned-Immigrant American cabbie Amir Alhabi, doing some surveillance, which forced Hayes to have Amir killed and all the evidence of what they were up to destroyed. Soon after Amir's cousin Jamal Alhabi was able to find the bomb, unaware it was a bomb and removed it from storage. Later both he and Cochran meet Hayes at his warehouse hideout, after he is able to retrieve the bomb, from where Jamal had put it. Both he and Cochran then aid Radford Hayes in killing Jamal and dumbing his body in a freezer, but before they can get away Beckett and Castle arrive at the warehouse, which results in Castle and Beckett being able to lock in the freezer, where they discover deceased Jamal. In order to make it seem like the middle east is responsible they needed a patsy, so Hayes has him and Cochran kidnap Amir's wife Nazihah Alhabi and her baby, forcing her to detonate the bomb. This plan is successful as he and Cochran are able to kill her FBI guard and make her detonate the bomb or they would kill her child, despite Hayes being captured. They were able to keep her child at an unknown location, with him being the supposed one leading the two of them, until eventually the authorities were able to locate them, which foiled their plan and stopped Naziahah Alhabi from detonating the bomb.
