After a run-in with some rogue recyclers in his Nightwing persona, Dick Grayson comes on duty as a cop to discover that his adoptive father Bruce Wayne has been charged with first degree murder and the media are having a field day. He manages to arrange a roster swap so that he has to take some Bludhaven convicts to the Shreck prison in Gotham and takes the opportunity to get a brief amount of time alone with Wayne in his police cell. However, Wayne is not overly welcoming and specifically forbids Dick from helping him out in any way.
